PRE CARE
Start taking Lysine or Zovarix 7 days before the procedure if you have a tendency for cold sores on your lips. Zovarix is a prescription drug and a physician should be consulted before taking this medication.

Slight tenderness & mild swelling immediately after procedure
|
POST CARE
Immediately after the procedure, the area treated will look much darker and much more defined than the final results.
Be patient. It will look much softer in 5-6 days depending on how fast your skin heals.
Make an adjustment appointment if there is anything you would like to change.
The appropriate waiting time is 2 weeks for eyes and brows and 4 weeks for lips.
Touching up a tattoo prematurely can result in scarring, tenderness and an undesirable color.
You cannot adjust color unless you know the color is settled.

THE HEALING PROCESS
Keep sealant cream on 5 times a day for 5 days. Sealant prevents infections and scabbing.
- Don't sit in a jacuzzi or swim for 5 days. Steam will open pores and make the color bleed out.
- Don't scrub the treated area.
- Don't scrutinize the work. The healing process is normal.
We recommend make-up not be applied over the healing tattoo. This can lead to infection. However if you must use it, use brand new make-up to minimize infection. This is especially important with mascara.
Eyeliner
Expect the eye to be tender 1-2 days. If eyeliner is swollen: wet a Lipton Tea bag in cold water and apply for 10 minutes. Re-apply if necessary.
Eyebrows
Brows will be tender for 1-2 days. They will turn dark for 5-6 days. After 5-6 days they will dramatically soften, normally over 50%-60%.
Lips
This area will take the longest to heal. The color will be extremely bright for 7-8 days. It will then fade to no color and re-appear after 3-6 weeks.
